Career Education and College Guidance Centers

Career Education and College Guidance continue to play a vital role in helping students plan for and achieve their career and life goals. They encourage students to open their mind to the numerous opportunities awaiting them, to explore their interests and talents, and to take a realistic look into the world that awaits them after high school.

Through the services provided by our Career Centers, students are exposed to the infinite possibilities available in their future. They are equipped with the tools they need to plan for future endeavors. And, they are provided with the continued support and encouragement that they need to be successful in life.

It is our hope that by showing students how to assess their interests and talents, then they become able to evaluate various careers and tailor their career path to meet their interests. In addition, we aim to show students how to effectively plan for goals so that they gain skills which will assist them in overcoming future challenges

The mission of the Career Development Program offered in the Career Center is to provide assistance and resources that support school-wide career education strategies, activities, and programs which enable students to make informed career choices and successfully transition to post secondary education and the world of work. The Career Center provides support so that all students may graduate from high school with the tools they need to process the "lifelong learning" questions:
