Location & Contact Information

Location

The Jack L. Boyd Outdoor School at Green Meadows is at the southern entrance to Yosemite National Park in the town of Fish Camp. We are at an elevation of 5,000 feet and experience four distinct seasons per year (see weather). Our facility is gently level, efficiently laid out , and accessible to people with disabilities. The town of Fish Camp provides basic supplies at the General Store, a US Post Office, and Fire and Emergency Response services.

Green Meadows is bordered by “Big Creek” which provides fishing opportunities for Rainbow, Brown, and Brook trout during fishing season. A network of trails and back country roads travel out from Green Meadows through the beautiful surrounding Sierra National Forest and into Yosemite Park.
